THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH MY FIRE ALARM SYSTEM; WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If you are in Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe or Palm Beach, call us at 305-823-7444 and one of our representatives will assist you.
I HAD A FALSE ALARM; CAN YOU CANCEL THE DISPATCH OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT?
Due to certain safety procedures, once the fire alarm system is triggered, the fire department will be dispatched and cannot be canceled.
IF THE POWER GOES OUT, WILL MY FIRE ALARM SYSTEM STILL WORK?
Yes, your fire alarm system has multiple backup batteries to ensure your fire alarm system will continue to work even if the power goes out. The systems will automatically recharge the batteries once the power returns.
HOW OFTEN DO INSPECTIONS NEED TO BE DONE, AND HOW CAN I SCHEDULE ONE?
The frequency of an inspection varies. At a minimum, a complete inspection of your fire alarm system must be performed once a year. Depending on the code in your jurisdiction, you might be required to have your fire alarm system inspected at a different frequency. If you have any questions about how often your property needs to be inspected, or to schedule an inspection, call us at 305-823-7444.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR DURING THE INSPECTION?
During a fire alarm system inspection, we visually and physically test all strobes, horns, bells, smoke detectors, duct detectors and all other vital parts of your fire alarm system using the proper tools and equipment to ensure your system is working up to code.
